The benefit, the tax, the mileage

Company car tax calculator: the benefit in kind, the driver's tax and the employer's Class 1A, worked from the list price and the CO2 band

The benefit in kind from the P11D value and the CO2 band, the tax the driver pays on it at their own rate, the employer's Class 1A on the same figure, the advisory fuel rate for the engine, and whether the cash allowance would have left the driver better off.

The Carbikly record signed in, on the Tax sheets & mileage tab, with a saved company car tax sheet opened: the P11D value, the CO2 band, the fuel type, the driver's rate and the months available, and the appropriate percentage, cash equivalent, the driver's tax for the year and per month and the employer's Class 1A read off them, filed against the car and the driver
Pro kept the tax sheet against the car and the driver: the inputs the P11D is worked from, the figure it produced, and the reference it is filed under.

Built for UK company cars only: the driver offered one, the director putting one through the company, the fleet or payroll manager reporting it

Not for car finance, leasing, insurance, road tax, running costs, payroll or corporation tax, and not for a car outside the United Kingdom

The four sums behind every company car decision, worked from the car's own figures at HMRC's own rates

The benefit in kind
Worked from the P11D value and the CO2 band, not guessed from a monthly figure The list price with accessories, less the capital contribution up to its cap, times the appropriate percentage for the band and the fuel, reduced for the days the car was not available and the private-use payments. Change the band and the driver's tax moves while they are still choosing between two cars, which is when the number matters.
Driver and employer
What the driver pays through the code, and what the employer pays in July The same cash equivalent taxed at the driver's rate, printed per month the way it reaches the payslip, beside the employer's Class 1A on the same figure. One sheet, both sides, so the offer letter and the P11D(b) are worked from one number rather than two.
Mileage and the dates
The advisory rate for the engine, and the days the forms are due Business miles at the advisory fuel rate for the fuel and engine size, or at the electricity rate for a company electric car, and the approved rate for a private car; the P11D by 6 July and the Class 1A by 22 July. Pro keeps the cars and the drivers those figures are worked from and reminds you before each date.

Should you use payroll software or a lease broker's calculator instead?

If you need PAYE run, payslips issued and the P11D filed, that is payroll software, and you should have it. If you need a quote for a car, that is a broker, and their calculator is built to sell you the lease. Carbikly is for the person whose problem is narrower: knowing the benefit, the tax, the Class 1A and the mileage before the offer is accepted and before the P11D is due, worked the same way for every car, without a per-car fee.

Carbikly Payroll software or a lease broker's calculator
What it is priced on One price for the whole fleet, £14 a month, however many cars and drivers Payroll is priced per employee per month; a broker's calculator is free because the lease is the product
What you get on day one The benefit in kind, the tax, the Class 1A, the advisory rates and the allowance test, all on the page, unmetered, with no login A payroll migration before you see a P11D figure, or a quote form before you see the tax
The rates HMRC's, from gov.uk, cited on every page with the date read, and yours to override in any field Built in and updated on the vendor's schedule, or chosen to make the lease look cheap
Getting your work back out Cars, drivers and every worked year export in bulk whenever you like, and for ninety days after you cancel Varies by vendor, and a broker's figures leave with the broker

Carbikly Pro is £14 a month for the whole fleet and runs no payroll and sells no lease: it is the company car's tax sheet and the fleet record behind it, nothing else.

The figure is yours. Carbikly Pro keeps the car, the driver and the rate it came from, and rings before 6 July.

The answers are free forever. Pro turns them into the fleet's own record: every car with its list price, CO2 band, fuel type and the dates it was available, every driver with their rate and their private-use payments, the benefit in kind and the Class 1A worked for each car each April, the 6 July and 22 July dates with reminders, and clean exports for payroll and the accountant.
